Gypsy is a small electronics company with one major concern: good tone. From our hand built effects to our amplifier and effect modifications, our final goal is to make your insturment sound great. All of our work is done by hand and is based on the ideas and circuits that created the best tones in the early days of rock and roll. We are not ardent purists that give no creedance to the development of new technology. We just think that tube amps and transistor based effects still sound best. Not only do these sound superior, but they give the musician a realistic chance of understanding the equipment that they are using and leave almost limitless possibilities for modification and design. Each effect is carefully handcrafted with close attention payed to aesthetics as well as individual sound quality. No two single GyPsY creations are exactly the same. Each is its own work of art, inside and out!
Sound samples were recorded with a 52 reissue telecaster with F*nder Noiseless pickups. The P-up selector was in the "middle " position. The amp was a Marshall 18 watter.
